Following the cancellation of the two GP2 Asia events scheduled to take place in Bahrain, series organisers have arranged a replacement event this weekend in Imola, Italy.

Jolyon Palmer made an impressive GP2 race debut at the Yas Marina, coping with changeable fortunes to run as high as second for parts of the race before eventually finishing 14th, despite being tipped into a spin in the late stages.
