Following today's sprint race at Yas Marina Circuit, stewards have decided to penalise Lotus ART's Jules Bianchi, Addax's Charles Pic and Racing Engineering's Nathanael Berthon after it was found that they had not respected yellow flags.

The three French drivers were each handed a twenty second penalty, which means Jolyon's already excellent 12th place has been converted to his first top ten finish in GP2.

Berthon drops to 15th as a consequence of his penalty, while Pic - with whom Jolyon enjoyed a tough battle for the majority of the race - falls to 22nd position. Jules Bianchi drops from fourth to eighth. Despite the penalty dropping him out of the points for race two, Bianchi still leads the 2011 GP2 Asia series after the first round, with Romain Grosjean in second and Davide Valsecchi third.
