Jolyon appears on Sky F1's Midweek Report

Jolyon Palmer joined presenter Natalie Pinkham and Formula One journalist Will Buxton on Sky Sports F1's 'Midweek Report' last Wednesday (27 May) to analyse the recent Monaco Grand Prix.

The 24-year-old was in Monte Carlo for the Grand Prix as part of his role as Lotus F1 Team Third and Reserve Driver. He carried out his regular duties for the Enstone-outift which included media commitments and participation in tyre and set-up meetings. The 2014 GP2 Champion also provided commentary for Sky F1 on Thursday's Free Practice Two and all the GP2 Series action in the principality across the four-day meeting.

In Sunday's (24 May) Grand Prix, Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton dominated the event until a late pit-stop relegated him to third, and he would hold that position until the finish. That handed the lead to eventual victor and Hamilton's team-mate Nico Rosberg, with the Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel finishing second. Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado, Jolyon's team-mates at Lotus F1 Team, suffered difficult races with Frenchman Grosjean finishing 12th following an incident with Max Verstappen and Maldonado retiring on lap six with a suspected hydraulic leak.

Jolyon was on hand in the Sky studios to provide insight in to a fascinating race and debate all the latest Formula One news and gossip.

The programme is now available on the Sky Sports website following its broadcast.
