Palmer prepares for F1 test debut

GP2 Champion Jolyon Palmer is raring to go, ahead of his F1 test debut with Sahara Force India at Abu Dhabi tomorrow (25 November), and had his seat fitting in Nico Hulkenberg's car at the Yas Marina circuit today.

Jolyon has spent the day with the team and met key personnel, while also familiarising himself with the VJM07 machine.

Palmer commented: "There's been no rest today as I've been busy with Force India preparing for my test tomorrow. There's been a lot to go through and a lot to learn, especially on the controls and systems side, but I feel as prepared as possible ahead of my F1 test debut. I can't wait to get out on track tomorrow now!"

The identity of all the drivers participating in tomorrow's test has now been revealed (list below). Jolyon will be on track alongside 2014 runner-up Nico Rosberg, former World Champion Kimi Raikkonen, and multiple podium-finisher Valtteri Bottas.

Palmer will have a full day behind the wheel of the Force India car tomorrow. He dominated this year's GP2 Championship, scoring a record breaking 276 points, with four wins and a total of 12 podium finishes.
