Jolyon Palmer will return to the cockpit of a GP2 car this week (today and Wednesday) at Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina Circuit for official GP2 testing, just two days after the season finished at the same venue.

Having raced with the Carlin team throughout the season, Jolyon will test with the Racing Engineering and DAMS teams during the test. The 22-year old will pilot the Racing Engineering car in today's sessions before switching to the DAMS machine on Wednesday.

Racing Engineering secured this year's Driver's Championship with Fabio Leimer, while DAMS clinched the title in 2011 and 2012 with Romain Grosjean and Davide Valsecchi.

"I'm switching to Racing Engineering and DAMS for testing this week" Jolyon commented. "They are both extremely good and professional teams, with the most success recently in GP2 so I'm looking forward to testing with them both."
