Heavy rain coupled with several red flags have hampered running throughout the second day (Wednesday 6 March) of GP2 testing in Barcelona.

For the second day in a row, drivers were faced with predominately wet track conditions, limiting running and preventing any meaningful lap times.

The afternoon stint did briefly see patches of blue skies but any hopes of switching to slicks were soon quashed when further rain fell at the midway point.

ART's James Calado ended the day on top while Arden's Jonny Cecotto lead the way in the afternoon session, nine hundredths of a second away from Calado. The day also saw a total of seven red flags.
