Weather continues to disrupt running on second morning in Barcelona

Heavy rain on the second morning (Wednesday 6 March) of GP2 testing in Barcelona has continued to hamper progress, with three red flags and changing track conditions preventing any meaningful running.

Poor weather disrupted much of yesterday's opening day with conditions struggling to improve for the start of day two. Just a handful of drivers decided to venture out in the early stages but it wasn't long before Rapax's Stefano Coletti caused the first of three stoppages.

Conditions did improve slightly as the morning went on allowing Jolyon Palmer to complete a total of 18 laps, with the 22-year-old hoping for a drier track this afternoon. Meanwhile, ART's James Calado ended the session on top ahead of Carlin's Felipe Nasr and Adrian Quaife-Hobbs driving for MP Motorsport.

Testing continues this afternoon with full coverage on Jolyon's official website.
