Jolyon Palmer targets more wins in Belgium this weekend

Southwater GP2 racer Jolyon Palmer aims to continue his winning form at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend (23-25 August), after scoring his first victory of the F1-supporting series' 2013 season at Hungary last time out.

The 22-year-old Carlin driver leapt to eighth place in the standings following a strong weekend in Budapest. Victory in the Feature Race meant that he headed into the series summer break high on confidence.

Jolyon will be aiming to better his grid position of fifth at last year's qualifying session on the Belgian track. However he is aware that weather always plays a vital role at the Ardennes forest-based circuit.

"I'm looking forward to getting back in action at Spa after the summer break," Jolyon said. "I'm very confident on all four remaining tracks and after winning at Hungary last time I'm very eager to add another at Spa. We will have to see how the weather plays out as usual there and strategy will be important and very open again, but we should definitely be in the mix whatever happens."

Full coverage of rounds 15 and 16 of the 2013 GP2 season at Spa-Francorchamps, including live timing, will be available on Jolyon's official website, while TV coverage of all sessions will be available on Sky F1's HD Channel. The first practice session gets underway at 11am (UK time) on Friday 23 August.
