The penultimate event of the 2010 Formula Palmer Audi Championship will now take place at Croft after organisers were forced to cancel the scheduled event at Donington Park.

The highly publicised problems at Donington have led to further delays in bringing the circuit back up to racing standard, with the track now set to make its competitive return this September. Race officials were forced to abandon FPA's planned triple-header on 15/16 August at the Derbyshire venue and Formula Palmer Audi organisers MSV have been quick to move the event to Croft - the series making its first appearance at the North Yorkshire venue since 2007.

Set in the beautiful surrounding countryside, the 2.1 mile circuit will host rounds 15, 16 and 17 of the championship on 9/10 October. Five events remain on the 2010 calendar with races taking place at Oulton Park, Rockingham, Brands Hatch GP and Croft, ahead of the season finale four race weekend at Silverstone. The next event on the calendar takes place at Oulton Park on 24 July.
