22-year-old Paul is the son of 1960s Formula One and
Formula Two driver Alan Rees. After racing in Formula BMW and
the Formula Renault Winter Series, Paul graduated to Formula Palmer
Audi in 2008. He took a pole position in the opening round of the
season and challenged for top rookie honours throughout the
campaign - he eventually finished as the third highest placed
rookie and ninth overall.
Paul will be one of the more experienced drivers in
the 2009 line-up and he will consider himself a genuine title
contender in his second season of FPA.
When not racing, Paul enjoys many sports including
golf, wakeboarding, snowboarding, tennis and football, as well as
modelling for clothing manufacturer Abercrombie and
Fitch.
