Maxim Snegirev

Date of Birth:12/06/1987  (23)

Maxim Snegirev will rejoin Formula Palmer Audi for the final three rounds of the season at Snetterton this weekend (17/18 October).

Snegirev, who spent the last two seasons in FPA, rejoins on the back of a successful campaign in the National Class of the British Formula Three International Series. The 21-year-old Russian finished fourth overall, and was the highest placed driver for his West-Tec team.

Previously Maxim had competed in both the main Formula Palmer Audi Championship and the Autumn Trophy in 2007 and 2008. He finished 19th in his first year in the main series, before an improved campaign in the Autumn Trophy saw him claim 12th overall.

He continued his progress in 2008, rising to 11th in the final standings and collecting several top ten finishes along the way, including a best of 6th at Brands Hatch. He also finished tenth in the Autumn Trophy, narrowly behind FIA Formula Two driver Tobias Hegewald.
