At the age of 23, French driver Julien Gerbi has competed in both Europe and the United States, proving himself to be a race winner on both continents.

Starting his career in the Formula X European Endurace Series, Gerbi finished 4th whist competing for the Draco Junior Team - a result that clinched the Frenchman the 'rookie of the year' title.

Switching to single seaters in 2005, Gerbi competed in one race in Master Junior Formula before moving to Formula 3 Turkey in 2006. This year saw Gerbi secure the first race victories of his career when he took three wins on his way to fifth in the championship.

In 2007 and 2008, Gerbi crossed the Atlantic to compete in the Skip Barber championship where he came up against some of the best young drivers from North America. Gerbi Acquitted himself impressively, taking 10 podiums and one victory in his two years in America.
