London-based driver Dimitris Papanastasiou will be returning to
the Formula Palmer Audi field for rounds 12, 13 and 14 of the
championship at Brands Hatch.
Papanastasiou had a brief forray in the series in 2008 when he
competed in the Autumn Trophy. He finished a creditable ninth in
the overall standings having raced alongside current F2 drivers
Tobias Hegewald, Jack Clarke and Jolyon Palmer.
Papanastasiou's consistent driving saw him score two
top ten finishes, including a best of ninth place on
the Brands Hatch Indy circuit.
The Athens-born racer will be hoping
to score top ten finishes again this weekend
(22/23 August).
