Jordan Williams joins Formula Palmer Audi after contesting the Formula Renault UK Championship last year, where he completed six races with the Falcon Motorsport team. Despite not contesting the full season, Jordan still demonstrated good pace and finished above a number of drivers, all of whom had contested more races than the 19-year-old.
Williams's career stretches back more than ten years, when he first began karting in cadets at the age of eight. Since then he has built up an impressive history, including notable success in Junior TKM Super 1 in both 2004 and 2005.
He made the move into car racing in 2006 when he joined the Ginetta Junior Great Britain series, finishing runner-up in his maiden season with four wins, 10 podiums and seven poles to his credit. He has also taken one podium in Formula BMW UK in 2007, and in the same year went on to finish ninth in the world final, which was won by F2 racewinner Philipp Eng.
